Rohit Goyal is a Partner for Corporate finance and Transactions Advisory practice. He is an MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and a Chartered Accountant (qualified in May 2004). He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
He has significant experience in advising clients in the field of Corporate M&A, buy-side/sell-side advisory, corporate fund raising (debt and equity syndication) and transaction structuring involving tax, regulatory (FEMA and FDI regulations), corporate law, SEBI and transaction financing issues.
Prior to joining Nangia Advisors, he has worked with ICICI Bank- Structured Finance Group (Investment Banking), catering to unique financing requirements of corporate clients. He has developed vast experience in devising innovative financing structures (transaction structure considering regulatory/capital requirements, security structure, other terms and conditions of financing). Typical structured finance solutions involved Cross border and domestic Mergers & Acquisition financing, structured promoter financing for new projects, joint ventures, infrastructure, real estate funding, asset financing, project financing, structured products for balance sheet, capital structure and liquidity management including convertibles, external commercial borrowings and equity linked products.
He has also worked with Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Transaction Advisory and Corporate Tax and Regulatory Advisory practice advising on Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestures, Group restructurings, Due Diligence for transactions, advise on International Taxation, cross-border taxation, including advising on tax-efficient and regulatory compliant investment routes for inbound and outbound investments.
